Singer -songwriter YUKI have been chosen to provide the theme song for "Himitsu no Akko-chan" live action adaptation starring Ayase Haruka.
In the encore part of YUKI's concert in Kanagawa, which is part of her 10th anniversary tour, YUKI said that she did the song the same day that she saw the screenplay. She was very honored to do the theme song, which is titled "Watashi no Negaigoto" (I Wish).
The said drama is originally written as manga by Fujio Akstsuka where Ayase will play as Akko-chan who has an infinity for mirrors. One day, her favorite mirror has been broken, but instead of throwing it away, she decided to bury it in her yard. In her dreams, she is contacted by the mirror's spirit who has been touched by her gesture. As a token of appreciation, Akko-chan was given a magical mirror that will transform her into anything she desires.
