YG Entertainment has announced that they have abstained members of their up-and-coming rookie female group from undergoing cosmetic surgery which, is considered an odd move in the Kpop industry.
The reason for this is because many of them are still young and they think it's best to portray them as they are, without being "overly made up". Last week YG released an au naturale picture of rookie member, Kim Ji-Soo, who's yet to make her debut.
They've also recruited a few girls to form a group but according to them, not all of them will "make it" into the group.

This might just be the first step to changing the materialistic culture in Korea, changing how people perceive stars and idols; to look at their talent and not just appearances.
Well now it will be a bit more frustrating for her to get any noticeable surgery in the future now that all see what she looks like pre operative.lol

I think most of YG artists are untouched by surgery. YG focuses more on talent.

Bom looks like she got a chubby face, I don't think people get platic surgery for that. Other than the chubbiness she looks the same. Just some times she's made-up a lot, which -and this might blow peoples minds- can make women look quite different than they do naturally.

I though she was just born that way or... something happen thats wwhhhy... the awkward... facial expressions.. her eyes... her lips be looking... u know what I mean but I still love her though.

It's good for YG to carry out this plan. SM is where I put most of my surgery suspicions. But every company's different, & YG's still not one of my favorite companies.
