With the Wonder Girls busy promoting in Japan, fans in the USA have been wondering when they would begin promoting in the USA. JYP has stated that they will be coming very soon.
"We are planning to push ahead with Wonder Girls' US promotions very soon," a representative told XportsNews.
The Wonder Girls have seen disappointing sales in Japan. Their debut Japanese single charted at #14 on the Oricon singles chart with 7,460 units sold, weak sales for a top group.
"We didn't go to Japan to top the Oricon chart. We just wanted our fans to hear our songs," group member Yubin commented on the sales.
No specific plans for their promotions in the USA have been made yet.

Exciting for me!!
I hope they do well, even though mainstream Americans don't take to kpop well. Well, they are the Wonder Girls! I'm ready for a miracle
hmhmhmhmhm, i thought they ....never mind.
lets see how it turns out:)
i don't understand why j-pop and k-pop artists don't try europe first? why not try breaking into the UK Charts.. I personally think they would do pretty well here.
I think so, too. Plus, all of the major talent right now is coming from Europe, so I don't understand why they don't try there first. The US market is filled with too many executives who know nothing about music, and the US audience is intolerant to anything that looks "different", especially if they do things better than the US does. It's sad, but expected.
It's sad that Korea has some of the best singers (and arguably the top performers) in the world, and yet they still have a hard time with America's racist attitudes. White and Black people are so racist against anything that is "different" that it keeps such talent from ever reaching Western shores, which is sad. Glad we have the internet.
Well I guess it's vise versa perhaps?
I'm sure there fans already heard Nobody for the 40th time lol
geez JYP.....it'll be a couple years before we see WG here....just as bad as YG who said 2NE1 would be doing US promotions around the same time we heard of WG doing US promotions (before their movie) and yet....we hear nothing except when K-pop artists go to LA or New Jersey.....so not impressed right nowl.
Oh wow. I wish them luck.
i wonder how they're gonna do it.......
I wonder why Jpop artist don't try to promote their music to the US too. Maybe they do and it doesn't take off so well. I know a lot of jpop fans and kpop fans here in America, but the music industry here seems "intolorant" of anything different.
