The controversy over Hwayoung being kicked out of T-ara and allegations of bullying within the group has caused them to rapidly lose support.
An online petition has been created titled "Petition for the Disbanding of T-ara" which demands that the group be disbanded. "As a group who is taking the lead in the spread of bullying, a big social problem, we ask for the disbanding of this group. It seems the time has come for T-ara to face the verdict of the public. Please dissolve this group," the petition states.
The petition has amassed nearly 100,000 signatures from netizens.
T-ara's largest online fan community, t-arafan.com, is being shut down. While the site's creator did not give a reason for the sudden end of the site, many attribute it to the scandals the group has faced this year.
t-arafan.com was the largest fansite for T-ara with over 4 million visitors. It will official cease operations on August 15th.
As many people who were once fans of T-ara stop supporting the group, numerous amounts of people are demanding to know the truth about why Hwayoung was kicked out of the group. "T-Jinyo", an online cafe demanding the truth about the controversy, has gained nearly 200,000 users. While the site is used for netizens to demand the truth, many are also using it to gain further support of T-ara's disbandment and have its members removed from shows.

Seriously? o.o We have music that supports doing drugs and drinking. Bullying, even if it is huge, is very minor, compared to other things. The band should not be forced to disband because of some stupid pension, along with drama.
Suicide rate in South Korea is spiking, and has recently been #2 or so in the world. Bullying isn't the only cause of course, but something's been festering in the culture there recently, and so the influencers need to be positive influences.

I don't know the full story but demanding that a popular group disband for kicking one of their members out of the group for unknown reasons (there seems to be a whole lot of them on the net) just seems cruel.
I don't like T-ara as much as I did before. I liked the group the way they were before the new members were added and Hwayoung was kicked out. T-ara isn't T-ara anymore...-_-
This is really silly. Even if it IS true, there are tons of worse things musicians do than bullying that people overlook, such as a drug use. Drug use that young fans will look up, mimic, and possibly die from (happens more often than you think with cocaine and drugs in that level). People almost ALWAYS overlook crappy personalities their favorite musicians and actors have...so why this time do they stop being fans? It's silly. The company should admit what REALLY happened, but they shouldn't have to disband.

Bullying is worse than doing drugs. You choose to do drugs. You don't choose to get bullied.
while i do not agree to this petition... (since we do not know the truth anyway) i feel that it's a good move to sort of force CCM to reveal the truth.. or maybe getting other parties involved and eventually this would be a matter the agency cannot avoid. I honestly feel that the way the agency deals with this issue is very unprofessional.
Though I wonder how this petition would work out. How do you expect to disband a group without going through the agency first - especially if they are the ones backing the group in the first place?
