SUPER☆GiRLS Cancels Event Due to Influenza

The idol group SUPER☆GiRLS quickly cancelled their special event today as three members of the group as well as staff were stricken with the flu. The event today was in celebration of their new single "1,000,000☆SMILE" which was also suppose to be released today (4/18). According to their office, Sayaka Saori, Kaede Kanou, Ami Maeshima and related staff were affected.

Also today on their official blog, they announced that their events tomorrow (4/19) and the day after (4/20) will be cancelled.
They reported that

We want the members themselves to concentrate on getting better first. We also do not want our fans to catch this disease so we have made a quick decision to cancel these events.
