When Super Junior's Kyuhyun was just a rookie, he didn't like the idea of being in a group with so many members.
The idol shared his views on the size of Super Junior on the latest episode of KBS 2TV's "Star Life Theater".
"I didn't like it when I was a rookie because there were so many members. There was so much competition within the team. I’m not really the ‘go-getter’ type of person, so I'd always just be an on-looker from the back," he explained.
However, as he spent more time with the group members, Kyuhyun's feelings have changed. "Now I like that there are lots of members. After spending so much time with them, I know their strengths and weaknesses," he stated.

i dont rele like too many ppl either lol but Suju is an exception
at first i would be kinda mad singing with a whole bunch of people but then i would warm up to it

i think everyone at first will be thinking like Kyuhuyn xD I mean 12 people - it will take a while to get to know everyone xD but I'm so happy that they are close now ^o^ I love them

It would feel weird, being forced to suddenly become close with 13(14) other people! It's great that they've become closer now though
I actually don't like large group members... I think it's, well, not really meant to be done on these kinds of things. But well... good thing he's now good.

I still think it's a stupid idea to have so many members in one group; it's not like they are a damn orchestra! Each member deserves a chance to shine, and with 9 members, some members get to have the spotlight more than others. It's a shame.
i love that they have alot of members and i understand that it does take a while to get to know all of them. he was spending alot of time with them, so of course he would eventually know them. it would have been hard having to join a group that was already close, but he happy now, so it all okies.
