SMTOWN's Facebook page announced that Super Junior's Heechul and TRAX's Jungmo will be collaborating in a new project group, M&D.
The group's name stands for "Midnight and Dawn". M&D is also the combined initials of the neighborhoods they live in, "Miari & Dangye-Dong".
The project group was conceived as a means to encourage Heechul and Jungmo to create and release music that they want to, regardless of genre. As the statement notes, "M&D is created to show their freewheeling and unique style of music which is differentiated from TRAX and Super Junior which each of them belongs to."
M&D's debut track "Close Ur Mouth" has since been released; check it out below.
The lyrics to "Close Ur Mouth" are penned by Heechul while the song was composed by Jungmo. Jungmo even recorded the bass, guitar and the electronic drum himself. Both members are planning to write and compose every single song the project group will release.
