Although SS501 never disbanded, the 5 member Korean group hasn't held group activities together since 2010 due to the members focusing on individual activities. This changed however as the group reunited for a fanmeet before group member Kim Kyu Jong goes into the army in July.
Although all 5 members were present, group member Jung Min did not stay on stage for undisclosed reasons.
"SS501 will never disband, so please wait for us!," Kim Hyun Joong told the excited crowd.
Due to the lengthy amount of time SS501 has been apart, fans were overjoyed to see the popular group come together after 2 years. #SS501Reunited quickly became a trending topic in many Asian countries, showing the group's lasting appeal and loyal fanbase.

wo0o0o0o0ow yesterday was a great day thankyu kyujong for gathering all members ssfighting(｡❤‿❤｡) kyu jong fighting
i wish other groups were like them where they don't break up and just do solo songs by themselves for a while then when they want to do a group song they can come back together or have a sub-unit. it would be alot of stress relief to the fans. but i hope once kyu jong comes out of military they will all get back together again
