SPEED member Takako Uehara is rumored to have a secret child. However, she has denied these rumors, revealing that it is just a misunderstanding.
The rumors started when the singer was seen at Naha Airport holding a child that was mistakenly identified to be hers by airport staff. In a blog post titled "Not Yet", Takako addressed these rumors, revealing that was a sibling's child, not her own.
Despite the misunderstanding, Takako was somewhat happy to have been mistaken to be a mother. "If it looked like I was at ease holding my nephew, I am happy. I guess I looked like a mother," the bride-to-be stated.
