On the latest episode of KBS' "Star Life Theater", Son Dam Bi shared her thought about the criticism she received after a lackluster performance of her song "queen" in 2010.
An MR-removed version of the singer's comeback stage on Music Bank showed that much of the performance was lip synched. The parts she did sing did not display the vocals of a talented singer either, causing netizens to criticize her for the dull performance.
With her comeback imminent, Son Dam Bi told audiences that the reason her vocals were shaky was because she wasn't confident and comfortable with her new genre of music.
"Instead of doing the same thing over and over again, I wanted to try something different. I experimented with a new genre for the comeback and ended up being shaky throughout the performance. Due to the controversy, I had a difficult time, as well," she stated.
After the public backlash from the performance, the singer trained even harder to improve her performance. She began running to increase her stamina so that she could sing live and dance at the same time without any problems.
Son Dam Bi is expected to be making her comeback in October. Her new album has already been finished, but its release has been delayed in order for more preparations to be put in for her music video and performances.

i hope she can do well in her comeback
Dam Bi is like the Ciara of Korea; she is more talented when it comes to her dancing, but her singling was never her strongest suit. Every artist lip syncs at one point or another in their career. To think otherwise is asinine.
cant blame them if your lip syncing...theywont believe you can sing but this may be good she might be a better singer now!!! fighting!!!
