Rumors that SNSD would be forming their first sub-unit have turned out to be true. The group made the official announcement that 3 of its members, Taeyeon, Tiffany and Seohyun, will form the sub-unit Taetiseo.
The name Taetiseo was chosen to reference the names of the sub-unit's 3 members: Taeyeon, Tiffany an Seohyun.
The trio will be releasing their first mini album on May 2nd. The mini album is titled "Twinkle".

Thank God for this sub-unit; I was getting tired of SNSD only focusing on a few girls for each song. there should be a rule where groups can only have 5 members, max. Nine is just ridiculous.

I was hoping they'd come with something more sophisticated and mature given that the concept of the sub-unit is to display their powerful vocals.
On the plus side, I highly appreciate them being the best 3 vocalists in SNSD, so I can't really wait to hear their songs
