It has been announced that SMAP will be providing TBS theme song for their coverage of the London Olympics. The same song will also be released as SMAP's 48th single; the single is titled "Moment".
"Moment" is composed and arranged by Ichiro Yamaguchi of Sakanaction. Yamaguchi is also responsible for "Magic Time", which is included in "We are SMAP!" album back in 2010.
SMAP's Nakai Masahiro will serve as TBS main commentator for their Olympics coverage. This is the third time that Nakai will serve as the main commentator, the first one was for Athens Olympics (2004) and then for Beijing Olympics (2008).
SMAP promises that the lyrics and rhythm of "Moment" will inspire and boost the morale of the athletes.

I love the song and I am happy they got this chance, but this year I was really hopping for an Olympic song from Arashi they have only done songs for certain games not for the coverage, but still SMAP is the best and I am really happy for them. And I can't wait to see the Olympics
