After promoting in the subunit SISTAR19 last year, SISTAR member Hyorin has revealed that she wants to go solo in the future.
The idol is interested in hip hop music, but hasn't been able to pursue music in the genre due to SISTAR's style being incompatible.
"The type of music I like, am confident in, and want to pursue are all different. The public thinks that SISTAR is really sexy, but we're actually tomboys in real life and don't feel that we're sexy in each others' eyes at all. Because we've been trained for such a long time, we merely know how to express ourselves in a sexy way, which is why people think we're a sexy group," she shared.
According to Starship Entertainment's CEO, the singer may have her chance to go solo in the near future.
"After SISTAR's summer promotions, Dasom will be in a drama. The other members don't have plans yet, so we’re thinking of having Hyorin release a solo mini-album, but nothing has been confirmed yet," he said.

I think if she goes solo for a bit it would be great. Hip Hop really does suit her, and i would like to hear more of those types of songs in the kpop industry
