Bad news for fans of Shojo Lolita 23q. The band just updated their website with a sad announcement: After being active for 8 years they’ve decided to go on indefinite hiatus. Their last live will be the final of their “WORLD end’s GALAXY”-tour that will take place at Shinjuku BLAZE on August 26th.
After having numerous conversations about the next stage the members came to the end that Shoujo Lolita 23q has reached its limits. They pointed out that they’ve fulfilled their role as band in the V-ROCK scene and it’s time for the curtain to fall.
The band stated that they’re really thankful for all the memories and all the love they’ve received within the past years.

This is insane. Bands continue to go under and I continue to lose some interest.

Ahhh, this is awful...I love Soshi's voice so much, it'll be such a shame to have no new songs from them...
At the very least, I hope Soshi works on other projects from here on!

being together for 8 years.... maybe they find is time for them to try new things individually. maybe is a good thing... who knows? hopefully they will eventually come back together for their band's fans!
