With all the hypes surrounding “Shingeki no Kyojin” (Attack on Titan) this season, we are forgetting that Isayama Hajime Sensei’s work will also be having a live action film. It has been announced for awhile although no information has been reveled.
However recently the official website for the “Shingeki no Kyojin” live action has confirmed that the film will premiere in 2014. It may even be earlier as some sites and blogs are spreading rumors and speculations that the film may actually be release later this year. Who’s excited?
“Shingeki no Kyojin” by Isayama Hajime sensei , is about a world where the remains of the human population live inside cities surrounded by giant walls due to the sudden appearance, gigantic humanoid creatures known as Titans who devour humans seemingly without reason. The story centers around the life of Eren Jaeger and Mikasa Ackerman, whose lives are changed forever after the appearance of a colossal titan brings about the destruction of their home and the death of their mother.

I really wish this movie is well done, not some crappy live action, like death note and dragon ball. Ruronin kenshin was good. I prefer 1000 times that this movie comes out in 2015 but well made rather than coming out in 2014 but being a bad movie
Please make this movie successful, after what happened with "the last airbender" and "dragon ball z" >.>. Having high hopes for this movie onegai :3

Hmm I love the anime so far and I didn't think it would be THIS good (seriously it's epic) but I'm not sure how are they gonna handle live action especially how are they going to make the Titans look.
WOOTS~~~! This is really a good anime!! Haven't read the manga yet since its exam period T.T
But like what Kami2sama said, I also wasn't expecting much from this series (mainly cos of the art >.>) but wow! (Another Shinsekai type of anime?) Really recommend it!
But tbh I'm gonna be a be skeptical about the live action since its gonna be hard to pull off great action camera angles that can't be brought out well like in the anime. And also, the CG of the Titians... unless the company doing the CG of the Titans are of a hollywood standard (lets be honest here.. I've seen many japanese films but their CG for live actions still isn't that good) then I'm afraid to say that the live action may end in a disappointment.
Nonetheless, I'm still looking forward to it!^^

Since i can't really have personal opinion in articles i might as well say it here
I STRONGLY STRONGLY STRONGLY recommend the Manga/Anime to anyone who watches anime and read manga because it's so good!
I had my doubts in this one during the start of the season but after watching the first episode i got sooooo into because this anime know where to end in each episode just make you begging for more. so after watching episode 3 last night i couldn't hold it together anymore! so i went to read the manga which i swear it's soooo good
and i'm not even close to the latest chapter yet (Chap 21 atm)
so if your looking for something new to read/watch i strongly recommend this. guarantee it won't let your expectation down. only one word for this "epic".
