Rock band School Food Punishment has revealed that they’ve decided to take a break from music activities.
The announcement was made today on the group’s official website, following a discussion between band members. At the present, it is not known when or if they will resume activities as a band.
The four members of School Food Punishment released this joint statement:
Formed in 2004, School Food Punishment consists of vocalist Uchimura Yumi, keyboardist Hasuo Masayuki, bassist Yamasaki Hideaki, and drummer Hidai Osamu. They made their major debut in May 2009 and had been rising in popularity with songs like their newest single “How to go,” which is the opening theme of the anime series “UN-GO.”
The band members will continue to update their own Twitters and blogs regarding their individual activities.
