Last July 23rd, Sashihara Rino had her farewell performance as AKB's Team A member at AKB Theater before her transfer at HKT Team H.
Sashihara has to be transferred after a scandal broke last June that involved her and an ex-boyfriend. The scandal made headlines in Japanese media that made AKB's founder Akimoto Yasushi transfer Sashihara.
The show started with Sashihara performing "Mokugekisha" with the rest of Team A. She also performed her debut single "Soredemo Suki da Yo" before HKT48 appeared on stage where they performed two more songs. Furthermore, to mark Sashihara's transfer, AKB Team A and HKT48 performed together.
Lastly, Oya Shizuka reads out a letter from fellow Not Yet member Kitahara Rie that made Sashihara cry. However, Sashihara still managed to end the night with a smile and thanked everyone who have gathered to bid her farewell.
