Rain Under Military Investigation After Relationship Revealed

Well if he had it easy before than now I doubt it. I think that fellow soldiers aren't so happy he has "special treatment." So they can give him a hard time...

some of these comments are talking about Rain like he's stupid or something. even if someone came up to him like "Hey, here's a bunch of extra free days, have fun!", it's still Rain's fault because he knows he's doing something wrong. for anyone to believe that he's innocent in this is so typically naive.

I'm just a fan of Rain and of course I agree with everyone saying that he shouldn't get special treatment because of his status but still it is proven that his outingswere justified by the militery! I want to believe that Rain wouldn't missuse these days off...

I'm a really big fan of Rain, but it's still unfair if he gets extra days off and other guys don't. It doesn't matter if he is a celebrity he still should have to serve the exact same time with the same restrictions as every other man in the South Korean military. :/

If the person giving him leave was given the reason that his leave was for outside civilian/work related reasons and he was approved FOR THAT REASON then it isn't the fault of the person permitting the leave. Yes, there is a chain of command, and if Rain did not use the permission for leave granted to him for the reasons intended then he is solely at fault. It is his responsibility as a soldier to be one, no matter what he is doing or where he is. Until he's out of the military that is his job. I think people who have never served in a military anywhere don't fully understand that. It is assumed, especially when you're an honored soldier, that the reasons you give are to be trusted. I have a feeling that he will have a harder time gaining leave outside that generally permitted to everyone at his rank.

I think they're being to hard on Rain. I mean, they shouldn't blame it on his relationship. Maybe he's using the breaks for other stuff too.

Then again getting more breaks than you're allowed isn't really a good thing.

I agree with some comments. Someone granted him those extra 20+ days off and he is at fault. Rain accepted those days and didnt think about the non-celebrity soliders who arent as privileged . He is also at fault. I dont even care what he did during those days.
It definitely isnt fair for him to get so many extra days off or for him to accept them.

Well, I hope he wasn't using all of those extra days to see her. It is the responsibility of the military not to give extra days just like it's his responsibility to serve in the military properly. Only time will tell what's going to happen. I'm a Rain fan but this scandal has got to stop. It might be nothing...

I think Chiaki0978 has a point. It's unclear at this time whether he used his time off to see Tae Hee, and for the general time off someone had to approve it. Isn't it at least half that person's responsibility for approving those extra days? I'm neither for nor against Rain since I don't really follow him, but usually the subordinate shouldn't be taking all of the blame. That's why their's a chain of command.
