Puffy announced on their official website that member Yoshimura Yumi (37) is expecting her first child. She is due this summer!
Yoshimura (left) got married for the second time on December 31, 2009, to a businessman five years younger than her. She was previously married to musician Nishikawa Takanori from 1999 to 2002.
On their official website, Yoshimura wrote, “It's sudden, but I will become a mother this summer. This is my first time, so I’m a bit nervous. But I will live everyday to the fullest.”
After a discussion with fellow bandmate Onuki Ami and staff, Yoshimura plans to continue with her music activities for the time being.
Puffy has a new single titled “Tomodachi no Wao!” scheduled for release on May 23.
