PSY's recording breaking continues as he tops the US iTunes Singles Chart, becoming the first Korean act to top the chart.
In addition to "Gangnam Style" topping the US iTunes charts, the song has also topped the iTunes charts in Canada and various countries in Europe.
Last month, the song's music video made history by becoming the 1st K-pop music video to top the iTunes Music Video chart. The MV has also become the most liked video on YouTube of all time.

I just think it's weird that people I know who've never even knew Kpop existed knows about this song and like it. I'm glad that Kpop is actually being looked at!

I'm sorry i love this song but most people in america our now"liking" kpop because of this and i think its messed up because when i tried to make them listen to it they told me it was not music
Eh, I mean, good for PSY that he's getting credit for a really catchy song. But now a bunch of ignorant people are going to get into K-POP and have these wacko fanbases like other mainstream bands... let's just hope this DOESN'T happen, though.
Why not? They are mainstream bands, so what's wrong that after Gangnam Style k-pop will gain more fans? I don't like it that there's always a "elite" group of people telling "I'm better than you, because I knew it earlier". About annoying k-pop fanatics- they already exist anyway ^ ^"
