After months of promoting "Gangnam Style" in Asia, North America and Europe, PSY's next stop on his global campaign will be South America.
While the song may have been released last July, "Gangnam Style" is apparently experiencing a delayed reaction in South America as he receives calls to perform in the region. "There has been a delayed response from South America, so it looks like I'll have to promote more," the rapper stated.
PSY has been invited to participate in a carnival in Brazil in February, prompting the rapper to decide to do some promotions in South America. "I could sing 'Oppa Samba Style' at the festival," PSY joked.
PSY, who has been promoting "Gangnam Style" since July of 2012, originally planned on ending promotions for the song after his New Years Eve performance, but due to continued interest in the song will continue his promotions while at the same time working on his next album.

He should be welcomed in Peru at the very least. Big Bang were overwhelmed with the sheer volume of fans just upon arriving at their airport. They were even enthusiastic enough to belt out the songs.... Yeaa Peru....PSY is coming!
good luck!!!!!~~~
Wow it's been half a year since then.
GOOD LUCK PSY~!
hehehe, well, tough for my ears but oh well, thats what skyrocketed him.
enough is enough man. the rest of the world has moved on.
If it didn't catch on in South America then oh well. He went plantium in the U.S. Not many other forgien artist has done that. Besides Gangnam Style died hard after Glee did it, AND ESPECIALLY after Kidz Bop did it -__- I feel like it just needs to stop.
Can't say I'm 'bored' or 'sick' of this, as I'm probably one of the few that amazingly enough has not heard his song nor watched his video yet, probably because he's not on my radar and I don't care or think about this artist at all. lol But hey, good luck to South America XD
I understand why he wants to promote it in Brazil...

Well, I'm brazilian and until now I haven't see any PSY CD in any store. So, when he promotes it here, lots of people will buy his CD.
And that's what the Entertainment Companies want. Money!
I know, I'm sick tired of this song too...
But, if this will be good for his carrer I'll be happy!
So, PSY, FIGHTING!
But the only thing I didn't really liked is that he will be here in carnival... Carnival? Really? I don't really understand why people think that's cool and nice...
I love PSY and all but seriously I am getting really sick and tired of this song playing everywhere.
omg seriously psy, everyone knows gangnam style okay? you dont need another promotion! just freakin release a new song already!!!
its already promoted! enough already
weeelllll~ I know how it can be annyoing but.... still..... <_<
promote more of this song? what the raassss?/??? Thats not the only song he has offer,
Haha, really? Well I'm sick of it too
Whoa Samba Style?
People should move on...
im surprised people are still obsessed with this song..
For real?! As if it hasn't been promoted enough already! I agree he should move on to the next single. He needs to show what else he has to offer. Sure he's well established in Korea, but the rest of the world will just see him as a one-hit wonder.
what? promoting in the world, it will reach south korea... Gangnam Style sold out everything he had to sell, and only now they will promote...
It's ridiculous...
PSY if I was you, I'd be starting to work on my next song...
I don't think the word 'bored' is the right one to use. I think exasperated would be more fitting. Having to listen to the the same song again could be considered tiring, but I think what keeps it from bring, for him, is seeing all of those people so excited to see him perform.
