PSY's "Gangnam Style" has won KBS' music program "Music Bank" for its 10th week, receiving more wins during regular season shows than any other song.
Prior to this week, Girls' Generation held the title for most wins during the regular programming, topping the K-Chart for 9 weeks with their hit single "Gee".
Despite PSY's new achievement, Girls' Generation's "Gee" still holds on to many of its Music Bank titles. The song still has the longest streak of consecutive wins (9 weeks) and most overall wins for a song (11 weeks, 1 of which came from the mid-year K-Chart, another from the year end K-Chart).
In addition to the new record, "Gangnam Style" also hold the record for the highest score on Music Bank, getting 30,454 in one week. The next highest song, Girls' Generation's "Oh!", only garnered 23,077 points, placing 4th in the overall score ranking.
