Studio Ghibli's "Princess Mononoke" has been turned into a stage play in London. The show will run from April 2nd to April 6th in 2013.
The project has been in production for more than a year in cooperation between theater company Whole Hog Theatre and Studio Ghibli. The performance will include giant puppets create from recycled material as well as original music performed live.
"Princess Mononoke" will be performed for 5 nights at London's New Diorama Theatre at 7:30 p.m. from April 2nd to April 6th, 2013. Tickers are available for pre-order on the theatre's website.
"Princess Mononoke" was originally an anime film which premiered in Japan in 1997. Written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki, the film is considered one of his greatest achievements.
