During a call in to MBC's "Section TV Entertainment Relay", Oh Yeon Seo's agency denied that she is dating Lee Jang Woo, stating that the two are just friends.
"The two are not dating. They're sunbae and hoobae from the same university who became close working on a drama together. We believe there is no possibility for their relationship to develop into something more than a friendship," the agency stated.
The language used during the phone call is slightly different than the language used in the agency's press release regarding the matter. In the press release, the agency says the pair "could officially become a couple with time".
Although it is now unclear whether the two are really a couple or not, "We Got Married" is still preparing for the possibility of taking Oh Yeon Seo of the show if she is in fact dating another man as netizens complain that it would ruin the illusion of her and Lee Joon being a happily married couple.
