Namco Bandai have announced that it will be releasing the 3rd AKB48 Dating Simulator game, titled: "AKB1/153 Renai Sōsenkyo" (AKB1/153 Love General Election). The said game will feature not just AKB48 members but with their sister groups as well, like: SKE, HKT, and NMB.
In the recent press conference for the games' presentation, each present member shared the story behind the pictures they were holding, and which were also printed on the game's cover. Yuko Oshima (AKB48) shared that her "love confession" scene was shot on a rooftop with her wearing a wearing dress. Oshima even joked that she thought she would not see the day she would get married in this lifetime. While Jurina Matsui (AKB48 and SKE48) had her love confession scene shot in the rain in a school uniform. The said game will also feature different occasions like Christmas and Valentines Day.
Lastly,the game will also include First Press Limited Edition "Super Deluxe Box" that consists of 150 pages swimsuit photo book, 10 photographs, and 16 hours "making-of" footage.
"AKB1/153 Renai Sōsenkyo" will be released on Dec 20th.

Let's say a guy bought this game, we don't know anything about him but to assume he's a pervert just because he show interest in cute girls is just dumb. What men doesn't like cute girls? Does it make them a pervert for following human nature? Women drool over guys ripping their shirts off and fangirls write gay fanfic as well. Are they "perverts?"
Not to mention the game isn't explicit in any way and is PG to PG 13 rated. If "perverts" actually want anything sexual, they would probably prefer eroge games instead.

There's nothing sexual about this game. It's PG, PG+13 rated at most. Most fans I know that have the game don't even think of them as their girlfriend and delusional shit. They just play it because they're fan and think it's cute. I'm even tempted to buy this as well. Having over 100 choices and filmed scenarios sound really nice since most anime dating games are usually cheap looking most of the time.
Beside they're a girl group. It's expected for them to target male fans even tho their fanbase is pretty divided even 50:50 male and female, according to BEST ARTIST poll done for every artist performed there. Like someone said, if your favorite idol boys do it, you're not going to be tempted? Why is it low for a girl group to appeal to male fans but it's hot for boy groups kiss each others or rip off their shirts on stage for their screaming prepubescent dumb girls? These things appeal to the fanbase. If you're not their fan then ignore it.
Oh forgot. The game appeal to lesbians too. AKB have alot~ of those fans.
But over all, male, female, straight, gay, bi, w/e the game appeal to AKB fans in general. If you're not then no reason to curr~
Girl I agree with you so much!!!! but not with the fans base, it seems like there were more boys in concerts than girls but fans in China is pretty like 40:60(G:B)....BTW i am a girl too. I have a reason to buy this game, for my 神推し who was never in this game before until this game adds SKE...etc. People play this game to get photos from the member they like and to get a feel of dating " non- sexually " Guys who play this game actually would learn how to treat their GF or ever get one, I have to say. It's true that this game is for fans. But at the same time they can get mire fans!!
Concert don't determine the overall fanbase. Things like handshake events matter too. There's alot of kids and girls there. ZIP! did a report about the female idol fans and there's considerately large amount of female who like idols. They interviewed random girls on the street and 92% said they like idols like AKB and Momoclo.
