AKB48's Mayu Watanabe will be releasing her 3rd solo single "Hikaru Monotachi" on November 21st.
The new track is described as being an uptempo electropop track.
The single's B-side track "Sayonara no Hashi" will be used as the theme song for the upcoming anime movie "Nerawareta Gakuen". The movie, being released on November 10th, will feature the singer as the voice actress for the movie's main character.
"I'm very happy that I'm already releasing my 3rd single so soon after 'Otona Jelly Beans'. This new song will be very different from my previous two singles. Recording this gave me a very fresh feeling," Watanabe commented.
The single will have 3 different first press limited editions available upon release. It will include a special DVD featuring the singer visiting the 47 prefectures of Japan, wearing a school uniform from each one.

Goodness, 3rd single already, same as Tomochin, even though Tomochin is the 1st AKB member to solo debut.
I actually like Tomochins solos though
I don't, I think Tomochin's songs are very bland "metropolitan" songs. I prefer Mayu's idol/anime style songs.
