It has been confirmed that hallyu star Lee Jun Ki will be officially released from his enlistment on February 16, following the successful completion of his national military service. In celebration of his reunion with his loyal fans, the idol will be holding a fan meet the afternoon of his release, adding extra significance to the day.
Tickets for the event, which will take place at the Sangmyung Art Center in Seoul, went on sale January 10, and were allegedly sold out in less then five minutes. The fan meet is expected to attract approximately 650 fans, both domestic and international, who are more than ready to see their favorite idol perform his hit songs at long last.
A representative of Lee recently spoke to the star's love for his fans, "During his service in the army, Lee was so touched by the loyalty of his fans, and he can't wait to meet them and express his gratitude. He wants to repay their love and support by producing great work after he resumes activities."
