JYJ has decided to file a lawsuit against news portal Dispatch for defamation of character after they made allegations of violence against saesang fans.
Back in March, Dispatch wrote an article claiming they had obtained audio files of group members Jaejoong and Yoochun cussing out and getting violent towards saesang fans. An alleged interview with fans was used to further support their claims.
"Publicly revealing an illegally recorded audio file without confirming with those involved first and revealing their real names is considered to be defamation of character and a violation of privacy," JYJ's legal team stated.
JYJ's lawsuit asks for 100 million KRW ($88,355 USD) for damages as well as the removal of the article and its audio files. They will be fined 3 million KRW ($2,650 USD) for every day they do not comply.
JYJ originally filed a criminal case in March when the controversial article came out. However, it was decided that a civil lawsuit was better suited for the situation and have retracted their previous lawsuit.

aigoo. sasaeng fans are really AODBHADUDIFGDUVBHDJKBVCJKX! too much -____-
There's too many people saying one thing and something else completely different. I don't know who to believe. But when in doubt FILE A LAWSUIT YEAH!!!
You guys are right. There is a lot of scandal.
wat a year we have with kpop.all i can see is scandal on and on.but micky has right to do that
ehe, at least Hero and Micky know how to handle a situation (if it was them on that tape) ...i know I'd be proud of myself if i was in that situation...but really? Micky especially deserves to act like that (if he did) since those fans even PUT SPY CAMS AT HIS HOUSE!! I guess slapping him wasnt enough -_-
wow -__- scandalous year
As much as 2012 has a rise in rookie groups there is also a rise in more scandals :/
those sasaeng fans asked for it first, if you ask me. if they didn;t act like that, JYJ won't be like that either!
one more thing....i really can't imagine JYJ being violent towards their fans.....I just can't.
yup i know right =/..i mean those fans were insane where some stupid fans install cameras all around them and even throw hits at them =/..geh they should all listen to epik highs 'fan' =='' ...but its really inconceivable how they can even accuse jyj of this. =/
woooooooow, crazy fans need to calm down they can only put up with so much!! I support JYJ!!
WTF! o.O ..............
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooo
Compare to what fans due to artists I think a little bit of yelling is far too kind. and if people wants to talk about violence they should really look at what fans due to each other before they can start talking about a couple of slaps.
I mean do not due. my bad.
I will probably make a lot of money if I become a lawyer in South Korea entertainment industry.
I Find it hard to believe ... Go with the suit!!!
I'm just shocks about this!
this is sad on too many levels
I feel like if it was true that JYJ were violent against the fans, a couple of things would have happened. 1. The police would have gotten involved since this was a high profile case of assault. 2. Since the police didn't take any action, they wouldn't have created a criminal lawsuit and gone under the scrutiny of the legal system for something they got away with. The cussing I think may have happened, but the violence? I find it hard to believe.
