JpopAsia in partnership with SingTel, is now bringing you our content on the go with the iPhone app NewsLoop.

JpopAsia previously announced our partnership with SingTel in July while NewsLoop was just an iPad app. After months of the development, the news app is now available for the iPhone and iPod Touch as well!

Anyone with an iOS device can download the NewsLoop app on the iTunes stores for free. JpopAsia news stories will flow as part of the Music and Entertainment News sections of the app, allowing you to keep up with the latest Asian music and entertainment news while on the go!

In addition to JpopAsia news content, you can find the best content concerning a variety of topics such as technology and political news all in the palm of your hand, all in a single, streamlined app.

Android users, don't fret! An Android version of the app is being developed as well. We'll let you know when you can enjoy JpopAsia on the go as well!

Not to rain on anyone's parade, but what's the point? JpopAsia already has RSS for the news and videos being uploaded. I can't see the need for this partnership.

Any kind of partnership is important for Jpopasia's growth, especially one with such a big service provider.

Okay.. I phrased myself wrongly. The partnership sure has its benefits for JpopAsia, but the news feed is already available via RSS. What I don't really understand is why you want to have a news feed on a mobile application, when the site that hosts the news is not optimised for smartphone use.
