During a concert in Hong Kong, Jolin Tsai's headset fell off in the middle of a song. However, the audience was still able to hear Jolin sing!
Over the weekend Jolin Tsai conducted the Hong Kong portion of her Myself World Tour. The singer wowwed the audience with her sexy performances. Even though she seemed to wear more covering costumes on stage, she remained sexy as ever with her dirty dancing.
Things were going great until she started to perform "Perfect". During the performance, the singer's headset got tangled in her hair and fell out. Even though she no longer had a microphone to sing into, the audience could hear her "singing", exposing the fact that she was lip-syncing.
Jolin later admitted that fast songs with strong dance performances require a backtrack playing along to help out with pace and vocals.

eh o well it happens
I hate when artist lipsynce but i understand why they choose to sometimes. I mean, i cant even imagine hard hard it is to dance and sing perfectly at the same time lol
Singing in the studio and singing on stage are to very different situations.
She can still perform and dance wonderfully... I don't care... its not proven that she can't sing
well maybe she doesn't lip synch on all her songs?
she said fast tracks with strong dancing requires it so it's sort of like a compromise
lol oh well that sux but singers do it all the time anyway
Oh wow, singers better have a mighty lungs to sing and dance in concerts. Like seriously being pissed is ridiculous -.-
i dont get why ppl get so pissed with lipsynching, u cant dance and not pant and sing, if u sing and pant ppl say u suck
i guess that makes sense since you can be low on breathe with intense dancing, but she should of had less intense dance moves then. what fun is it going to a concert if the artist wont even sing live.?
is this new? lol
Should evry artist with ''fast-songs'' lip sync because singing and dancing together is too hard?
I mean you don't see Beyoncé lip syncing or Lady GaGa..
And I think for the money you pay to see Jolin Tsai performing I think you, as a fan, can atleast expect that she does sing live and dance how hard it may be.
Maybe she needs to work on her condition.
I'm not hating on her because I do like her music but it's just how I think about it.
Jolin's dances are rougher than Beyonce's or Lady Gaga's... just saying. I see what you're saying, but I think it's not right to compare her with those two particular artists :/ And yes, many other artists do lipsync, even if you don't know it...
come on people, get real. try to duck just a few times and sing la li la, and see what happens - but if she does not dance then people will complain. it's just obvious to solve the problem like this.
ridiculous!! in this day and age, ppl are still doing that crap! i mean, not knowing that you're going to be paying for an expensive concert ticket...just to get lip syncing thrown at you. Shame on her!
anyone with a brain would know its hard to combine skilled dance moves and singing when performing for over an hour with little time for catching a breathe. this isnt country, rap or even yui if i must relate to asian artist. she does far more than just stand and hold a mic :]
It's not that big a deal... I mean, when you're dancing, you can't really sing. I think she should be excused.
LOL
! Btw, I spotted a typographical / grammatical error in the article..."Even though she no long had a microphone to sing into,..." should be "Even though she no longer had a microphone to sing into,..."
no it's correct. you misread it. ^-^
lol
haha, xD
