Popular Korean artist IU recently made her Japanese debut in March this year when she released her 1st Japanese Single "Good Day". It peaked at No. 6 on the Oricon weekly charts, selling 21,000 copies, becoming the first korean solo artist to peak in the Top 10 of the Oricon charts for a debut single. It has also been more than 5 years since an overseas solo artist peaked in the Oricon Top 10, with the previous artist being Leah Dizon from the United States.
To follow up with the success, IU announced last month that her 2nd Japanese single "You & I" is scheduled for release on 18th July, along with the partially-revealed tracklist. Back in Korea, "You & I" was a huge hit when it was released with her studio album "Last Fantasy" in 2011 fall.
"You & I" Japanese version will come in 3 editions. Check out the CD covers which has just been recently unveiled for each edition below!
