IU was a guest on the latest episode of SBS's "Strong Heart". During her interview, the singer revealed that her plans for retiring.
"When I get married, I will retire in order to focus on household chores and assisting my husband," she stated.
The singer hopes to get married early on in her life. Building a life together with the man she loves is more important to her than her singing career.
"My goal in life is to be happily married. I like the stability that a warm family can offer. I think I will become less selfish once I get married," she stated.

It wil be Ai Otsuka all over again if I start to listen to IU so I won't...sorry. But I did cry a lot when Ai-chan said she would be in a indifinite hiatus and then she just went away for a long time, only rturning this year -.- But IU doesn't say "hiatus" she say "ritire" right away. I would go insane if I did that and I wouldn't leave my career for the best man in the world. But each person has their own objectives ^-^
