It has been reported that one of the tracks from HyunA's new album 'Melting', "Very Hot" has been banned from being broadcast by KBS and MBC.
Cube Entertainment stated, "The reference to a specific brand (KaKaoTalk) in the lyrics became a problem. The problematic lyrics were put into the song as they're related to normal life behind the stage. It has not been decided whether we will be fixing the issue and resubmitting the song for review yet."
HyunA's new album 'Melting will be released on October 22.

Hmm it;s always so odd to see her songs getting banned in Korea. Yet, in Japan i would see them in the middle of the day.
whyyyyy? ..........
:D ))))))))))))))
woah~ is it really that serious....
havent heard the song yet im gonna listen to it
Shouldn't they just take it out of the album? C'mon they were referring to a particular band so they shouldn't publish stuff like that since it might be considered as libel and is equal to bashing.
Own Her face is soo cute
Well at least it wasn't because inappropriate content in her songs like ..you know... I don't really care since I'm going to download her songs anyway XD Good luck to her~
we already discussed this at the forum... its stupid, right?~
At first I though it was because of something nasty, which I couldn't see happening. This makes so much more sense.
wow......i was upset when they banned Baby one more Time haha
Before the comments have a chance to get out hand may I point out that referencing a 'brand' requires permission (it does if you want to mention an artist in a book's acknowledgement section so I assume it works the same way for companies). The company may not have given their consent or maybe don't want to be associated with HyunA. Her image may be incompatible with their targeted clientele or could interfere with future projects.
lol yeah I was gonna say thing...people saying the decision is unfair clearly have no idea how copyrights work
now if they said she was "too sexy" (how is that even a thing?! idk) that would be more problematic imo.
I don't think you need permission in the US. For example, I highly doubt Apple would consent to those "I'm a Mac....And I'm a PC" commercials...Also rap lyrics are notorious for bashing other rappers.
O-0 she is too sexy thats normal lol
I thought it was banned because of questionable content at first
dont hate on Hyuna if she's to hot to handle
I thought it was banned because it was too sexy xD !!
It seems so good.I cant wait for her new album
i think they're biased a bit
banning a song for a reference to a brand that isn't even bad in sense...
maybe they just don't like hyuna
