Core Contents Media (CCM) has just announced that T-ara's Ryu Hwayoung will be departing from the group and her contract as an artist will be voided effective immediately.
CCM CEO Kim Kwang Soo made a personally written press release, and stated Hwayoung's departure was due to the wishes of T-ara's 19 member staff, 7 hair and make-up personnel, 5 stylists, and 7 managers.
Kim Kwang Soo claimed the termination of Hwayoung's contract has nothing to due with recent controversy. Recently, exchanges between the members on Twitter were seen by fans as one-sided bullying of the members of T-ara towards Hwayoung, but nothing was confirmed, leaving questions unanswered and the public speculating.
Kim Kwang Soo stated, "We wish to impress upon the fact that this has nothing to do with the ‘bullying’ reports surrounding T-ara."
CCM went on to express their sympathies towards fans on T-ara's 3rd anniversary, and that. "We also apologize again to the T-ara members and wish Hwayoung all the best as a powerful rapper."
T-ara will return as a 7 member group with the original 6 members and new member Ahreum.

O.O This is a surprise.
sigh.....seems as though the matters are becoming more complicated. :L
Hahaha bullying what? i dont even know this group but they releases Singles and Albums in my country lol
u just made it sound like bullying is a laughing matter. not cool
He didn't mean to make bullying sound like a laughing matter, its just unbelievable. Like nervous laughter or something. Stop tripping out.
All of this is so confusing, giving me a headache.
Whatever happens, happens. D:
she's gone even tho i dot know her
it has been confirmed, she has been treating the staff horribly....i'm just not going to bother listening to them anymore. theres 2 sides to every story..none of the member took it maturely by bullying her, which i heard was lies. they should just disband. they embarassed themselves enough with the drama.
Dont we just love speculations!!! YAY!
This just gets worse. Them and their f*cking excuses. WHATEVER. We won't buy it.
T-ara is going downhill now, even their own fans turned into some scary antis. They lost fancafe members and their anti-fancafe increased a lot. Smh.
Good luck trying to fix this.
WHAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa?>?>?>!
poor girl....hope she will come back to this industry
My poor maknae Hwayoung i hope she finds her own success and i will miss her
she's a damn good rapper, and in this industry it's impossible to know who's really the victim and who's pulling lies out their ass in a situation like this, so I just hope she's better off and that she gets another opportunity to do what she does best.
it sad news but she wasnt my favorite and the group had too many ppl, anyway but she will be missed
When Kim Kwang Soo announced that T-ara would be adding members, he stated quite clearly that those who were not pulling their weight in the group would be let go. The Twitter "bullying" was never really addressed I think because CCM told the girls to go dark and to not tweet about the situation further. I am not so sure if the girls were not lashing out at Hwayoung for leaving them high and dry at the Music Bank performance.
I actually thought that Boram was in more danger of being fired than Hwayoung. She's adorable and that's about it. Soyeon, Eunjung, and Jiyeon have the only strong voices. I hope that KKS and CCM learn from this. They should take notes on how to deal with big egos from SMTown. This was bungled horribly.
Sad sad news.
She is one of my biases there!
Hope she pursues a solo career.
T-ara really isn't T-ara anymore -_-
If the bullying accusations aren't true and those tweets weren't intended to be jabs at Hwayoung, why didn't they try to clarify the situation or deny the allegations when the "misunderstanding" first took place? All they had to do was insure Hwayoung that they mean't no harm by their statements and explain what they mean't and that their comment wasn't intended to make her feel bad after they saw her reaction. That could have been cleared up within minutes. Yet despite everything crumbling around them, the T-ara members still have not denied the allegation themselves. If I was innocent and someone called me something that I was not, I'd correct them on the spot and defend myself. Keeping silent for days after the incident makes them look guilty. If they are innocent they need tot and clarify themselves, which like I said, shoud have taken place days ago.
As I mentioned in my post, I think that CCM told them to not use Twitter until KKS made his decision.
