Goo Hye Sun, best known for her role as Jan Di in the hit TV series "Boys Over Flowers", has filed a lawsuit against a netizen who has been spreading false rumors about her.
The netizen in question claimed that the actress was clueless when it came to Christianity, thinking that the virgin Mary, the mother of Jesus, was the same as Mary Magdalene, the prostitute.
According to Goo Hye Sun, the confusion never happened and was made up by the netizens to damage her reputation. "I have already taken legal action against those who created these baseless rumors and lies... Any further rumors uncovered may also be punished," she stated.
The tweet making that claim has been blocked from public viewers through a legal injunction. The identity of the netizen spreading the rumor has not been revealed.

I remember something similar happened with sohee from wondergirls.i think there were some people or a person posting some rumors about her so she sued who ever was involved.

Well, first off, it's the netizen who is stupid, because Mary Magdalene was not a prostitute. Mary Magdalene was the disciple of Jesus, who was possessed by 6 demons, she's only known as a prostitute because that's how films/novels about Christianity portrayed her.
Second, Goo Hye Sun is stupid for pulling out a lawsuit. Why does it even bother her? In fact, why does it even matter?
Those kind of people disgust me. I mean shouldn't they be doing something productive rather than making rumors and bashing them? Ugh.

Really?! Suing over that? Hell there's people who don't know who those Marys are let alone know the difference. Why didn't she sue the people who thought her acting in Boys Over Flowers was awkward and she had no chemistry with Lee Minho? Oh yeah, maybe because that was true.
