On June 23rd Kyan Yutaka, guitarist of Visual Kei air band Golden Bomber, and Aoi, vocalist of Ayabie, attended an event for the upcoming movie "Shi ga Futari wo Wakatsu Made".
The role as killer is Kyan’s first role as a leading character in a movie and fittingly he appeared in a shirt covered with fake blood and with a fake knife. Speaking of his appearance in the movie, he didn’t wear as much make-up as he used to wear as member of a Visual Kei band but that didn’t bother him a lot. "It wasn’t embarrassing but I’m sure 2ch (2 channel) will talk me down", he said with a bitter smile.
Kyan also stated that his band wasn’t happy about his acting debut and told him to quit the band. With a laugh he said he would quit band activities after the movie's release.
He also shared some episodes happened on the movie set. "I was scared that they would bully me because suddenly I was the main role. But these 5 people (cast and staff) really hate me! They put drawing pins in my shoes and burned my coat!", he revealed. "But in the end we became friends, so it was fun."
The one who burned Kyan’s coat during a photoshoot was Aoi, vocalist of Ayabie, who also makes an appearance as killer in the movie.
"Shi ga Futari wo Wakatsu Made" will hit Japanese theaters on September 1st but you can already watch the trailer below!
