A music publishing company, which is known to have strong ties with SM Entertainment and its artists, recently posted on its message board, "Our songwriter's song has been selected for one of the songs in Girls' Generation's subunit group's (Taeyeon, Tiffany, and Jessica) new album, so we're busy arranging the piece."
Since then rumors have been circulating that Taeyeon, Tiffany and Jessica will form Girls' Generation's first-ever sub-unit. SM Entertainment only responded, "Details have not been finalized yet", to these rumors on April 12th.
What do you think about the idea of making a sub-unit with Taeyeon, Tiffany and Jessica?

Frankly, why do they need to form a sub-unit? They are only 9 members; moreover, they would be just compared to AKB's sub-unit.

But I don't think SNSD is big enough (member number-wise) to warrant a subunit, they're only 9 members anyway. It's not like AKB where you have a zillion members.

I'm not the biggest SNSD fan (to be honest, save for a fe songs, I don't like them at all), but I do think that some of the girls would be better off if they had a bigger chance to shine. Hopefully, their music is better as a sub-unit than as a football team.
I am all for it. Can't wait to hear it. I know they won't amount up to Orange Caramel, but should be interesting
