The multi-talented former vocalist of Malice Mizer has never revealed his true profile, and with a mysterious aura around him, is a celebrity in the world of show business. For the ambiguity in GACKT's accumulated fortune, the Tokyo Regional Taxation Bureau was obligated to open an investigation into his finances. When they did, it became evident that GACKT has a mistress and an illegitimate child overseas.
On August 28th, officials from the taxation bureau, inspected his apartment, known for being the head office for GACKT's entertainment business, Godey Holdings, as well as his and his family's home.

Instead, he has taken care of them by setting both the girlfriend and child up in a high class condominium in Canada".

The investigation started in the early morning, and lasted for a long period of time and along with his cell phone, the officers also confiscated his account book and computer. The investigation started when the tax office realised that he had been evading taxes, and collecting “black money”.
A TV Report recently reported the theories of the investigators: "The girl was pregnant and if it was exposed to the fans that GACKT was a man with a wife and kids it would ruin his image. Worrying about the girl, it was decided that she would be taken care of with a life overseas, and that GACKT would not acknowledge the child".
The woman and child are currently living together in Vancouver in an apartment that costs 400,000 yen a month in rent.
From October, GACKT was scheduled to appear as a regular guest on Kitagawa Keiko's Nippon TV drama, "Akumachan". Will this situation affect his career?

Generals... No definite tiem on phone removal... and the TV report doesn't say what channel while it says where he was to appear... hmmm... could be publicity stunt, or fake reporting for money, either way it seems to be all lies.

In the fisrt time I read this all I can think is worry for Gackt, he surely be hurt about this. They wanted to ruin him, that's all. Nothing true.
Finally he wrote at his blog and just laughed out. So it's good because he's still fine. He has many new project: new single, new drama, new tour ... He doesn't care about those rumor. Real fans will calm and trust him to the end. That's all.
Shame on people criticize in the beginning of this case. Nowaday newspapers, magazine just write for money, not the truth!

I find it odd that it has been a week since the posting of this article and everywhere I try to find more info about this, everything leads only back to jpopasia... makes it seem like it might have just been from a gossip tabloid and only this website made a big fuss about it. I don't know if I can believe it yet since many who are talking about it are only getting the info from here.
I just can't believe this. It sounds totally unbeleavable to me. Now, all of a sudden all these information are released. But no clear facts. Court? Jail? Or anything else? No, just general facts... a lot of facts and I just can't believe that anyone (even if it's supposed to be a friend of Gackt and I don't think that this man who is the boyfriend of Ayumi Hamasaki... tell me when I'm wrong...) could have known about this in detail. This is such a fucking shit.

I hope he will tell us soon about this and tells the true. He is a very mysterious guy and I can partly think that he could do something like that (and I'm a fan)... but he would never do this cause he is "bad" (don't know any better word now, too lazy to use the translater...

This all sounds rather fishy to me. All in one article? Nothing about this investigation as it was happening? No talk of court or jail time? I need more information to fully make an opinion. And maybe there are more articles, written in Japanese that I can't read.Who knows...
Ok so apparently the entire nation of "Canada" confirmed this? I live here, and I didn't confirm it. This sounds like tabloid junk to me. I don't believe this and I think it's poor that Yesasia didn't even bother doing a proof-read through their own posting before getting ever fan's pants in a bunch! I'm disappointed.
And what does that kid thinks now that his/her papa dates this iconiq publicly while his/her mama is kept in secret and is unloved? And if iconiq and gackt will have a child together, this first one will be neglected even more? Sorry for getting so emotional over this, but this is exactly what happened to me and I must admit I hate to hear stories similar to my own. There's nothing that can heal the feeling of being the inferior child, and it completely ruins one's life.
