FUNimation has announced that they will be premiering the English dub to the hit anime series, Steins;Gate, during Otakon on Saturday, July 28th. A Q&A session will follow with the cast. With the announcement, they've also announced the English dub cast.
Okabe will be played by J. Michael Tatum, Makise will be voiced by Trina Nishimura, Mayuri will be voiced by Jackie Ross, Daru will be voiced by Tyson Rinehart, Suzuha will be voiced by Cherami Leigh, John Titor will be voiced by Patrick Seitz, Braun will be voiced by Christopher R. Sabat, Nae will be voiced by Brina Palencia, Ruka will be voiced by Lindsay Seidel with Jessica Cavanagh as Moeka. Collen Clinkenbeard will be the ADR director and line producer with John Burgmeier as head writer and Stephen Hoff as ADR Engineer.
Currently the series is listed by FUNimation as coming soon to DVD and Blu-Ray pack.
Set in Akihabara, Steins;Gate follows a group of friends who have customized their microwave into a device that can send text messages to the past. As they perform different experiments SERN, an organization who does their own research on time travel, begin to track the friends down and they must avoid capture.

i'm tired of these weaboos complaining bout dubs.
I loved this anime! The dub better be good, don't ruin the anime like what usually happens...
There was or is an English dub? O.O
Then they will bring the DVD in German! xDD
But please, no censorship and with sense! Not that there are some things mixed up ....

Cherami Leigh always takes a while for me to get used to in her roles, but i always end up loving her and preferring her in them. She's pulls off the emotional material really well, and better than the comedic things.

I think this is just one of those shows where u shouldnt dub....the original context is important and hard to translate over........and there are blood scenes, so will they censor that? BS!!!!!! What are they gonna do about Okabe's "I AM MAD SCIENTIST"??!?!?!??!?!

I love Steins;Gate! Hopefully Funimation's hand behind it will give it the attention it deserves. Though I, like always, will prefer the sub, I can't wait for the dub!
