The much awaited J-pop Festival 'Kick Off Party' attracted a huge number of fans most especially the Jpop fans who, after long years of waiting, a large event focusing on Jpop will finally happen. Brought to you by Japanice Productions in cooperation with Kfest Manila Events Management, the said kick-off party aims to test the power of Jpop fans for an upcoming large Jpop event next year.
With long hours of fun and pure fandom including Gyudon Eating Contest, Vocaloid Cosplay Ramp Show, wherein vocaloid fans get to show their talent, J-POP Singing Contest where participants where able to showcase their talent and love for jpop, ARASHI Cover Dance Showdown, where cover groups of Arashi battled to be the best cover group of the storm of JE, and special tribute performances were also held like the WaT Special Performance and Namie Amuro Special Perfomance.
The fans did not only enjoy the event program but also had fun by stopping by at some fans club booths like Arashi, NEWS, Scandal, Namie Amuro, etc., and by also dropping by and raiding the booths of the participating exhibitors to buy some official and fan-made items of their idols.
All in all the event ended successfully and had met its goal. So we can all expect a grand J-POP Festival this coming January 2012!
