This web-only trailer was streamed on April 22 by the film distributor, Shochiku. It features never seen before footage and it's the longest trailer yet, with 107 seconds. "Blood-C: The Last Dark" is set in Japan's capital, Tokyo, just a year after the Blood-C vampire anime series.
CLAMP, an all-female Japanese manga artist group, developed the story and character designs for the Blood-C anime series and the soon-to-be released film. Naoyoshi Shiotani (Tokyo Marble Chocolate, key animator on Blood+ and Blood-C) will be directing the film and Production I.G will be in charge of animation.
Writers Jun'ichi Fujisaku and Nanase Ohkawa (CLAMP), animation character designer/chief animation director, Kazuchika Kise, and voice cast members Nana Mizuki (Saya Kisaragi) and Kenji Nojima (Fumito Nanahara) are not going anywhere and will be returning from the animation series.
The film will open on June 2.

I still need to watch all of Blood-C!
can wait xD!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i havent finished blood-c and i have to watch this movie!!!
Hm... looks more promising than the Blood-C anime - I was disappointed by that. Let's give it a try and see if it really is good
I want to see it
it looks amazing ^_^
I haven't watch Blod C, but I did watch Blood +. If this animation is based off of that, with character designs by CLAMP, then I have no doubt that it will be any good.
looks good & i want to see it
I wanna see it!!!
asdfghjkl; Wat. Looking forward so much to this.
Wow, Production I.G. and CLAMP? Nerdgasm if there ever was one!
As an added note, I love how Japan has such an appreciation for the arts and animation, whereas the rest of the world sees it as a novelty or "Kid's stuff". No wonder Japanese kids are so much more intelligent than kids from the rest of the world.
I'd say it's not all that dissimilar from America actually. Ghibli is the Disney Renaissance / Pixar of Japan and they have plenty of shows that equate to "Saturday morning cartoons" o r whatever, but animation as a whole is still surprisingly niche. On the other hand, manga is like a million times more popular and acceptable.
asdfgh
can't wait for the final release
omg...just how much i love Blood+..i will definitely watch this...looking forward to it!
The animation looks beautiful.
I wasn't that excited over this before, but now..idk, I will be looking forward to it at least. I don't dare to get my hopes up.
i wish there would be a real blood+ sequel.
i want to see this
