Block B has filed a lawsuit against their agency Stardom due to the company neglecting to pay them over the past year and has asked that their contract be nullified.
According to reports, the group file the suit with the Seoul Central District Court, stating that their contract guaranteed that they would be paid on the 25th of every month, but have not received any payments since April of 2011.
The suit goes on to claim that the group's financial issues with Stardom started last March when things such as appearances, their involvement with various dramas and the inauguration of their Japanese fan club were not included as part of their pay. The following month, they simply weren't paid at all.
An official statement regarding the lawsuit has not been released from Stardom at this time.
[Update] Block B claims to have not been paid since April of 2011, not 2012 as previously reported.

Wow I hope they win. Them not being payed for almost 2 years is just ridiculous. And when they do win the case which they should they need to go to another label.

It's totally unfair for Block B. They've been working their butts off and had a hard time going through the "punishment" they got from mindlessly bashing Thailand. They had great hits too, I wonder why they aren't being paid. >_<;
I'm sad that it's them this is happening to. Within the Kpop industry, crazy things like overworking or money problems aren't unheard of. I hope that they can triumph over this. Good luck to them.

It looks like I'm not the only one that thought of TVXQ after reading this article... well everyone knows how things gone in that case but I believe that nothing's over yet! As for Block B I'm more that happy they stand together and I'm sure that everything will go well...
At least they are standing together as a group. Even if their contract is nullified, as long as they are talented (which I can't judge since I don't follow them), they will find another company to sign with. Just hope that nothing like what happened to DBSK happens again.

I saw the headline and thought of TVXQ ugh the worry it'll be something like that. This seems like something the whole group is behind and definitely should be!! Not being paid for over 6 months??!?! That's ridiculous. Block B FIGHTING!! I'm sure someone else will pick them up they are awesome.

Maybe, but it's not right. I hope they get paid what they're owed. I know I wouldn't be working for someone if I wasn't getting paid, contract or no.
