Ayumi Hamasaki's 2001 hit, "Evolution", has been chosen to be the theme song of Helter Skelter movie. "Helter Skelter" is a live-action film adaptation from Kyoko Okazaki's psychological manga. The movie stars Erika Sawajiri, a model who underwent extensive cosmetic surgery to attain her level of beauty.
Ayumi Hamasaki said that she's a big fan of the manga and is also excited to see the movie. This will be first time that Hamasaki's song will be used for a movie since "Dragon Ball: Evolution" last 2009.
'Helter Skelter" will hit the cinemas on July 14th.

I think it's a great idea to use one of her old songs as a theme for a movie. It can help generate interest in some of her older music and boost sales for those songs and albums.
I like the idea of evolution being the theme, after all it is an awesome song, but i kinda wish it was something new,!
