Atsuko Maeda graduates from AKB48 on August 27th. On August 17th, the idol performed for the last time as an AKB48 member on the latest episode of "Music Station".
In commemoration of her final performance, AKB48 held a special stage on the show, performing a medley of hits that included "Flying Get", "Ponytail to Shu Shu" and "Yume no Kawa", Maeda's special graduation song on their 27th single "Gingham Check".
"I'm AKB48's Maeda Atsuko. This performance will be the last time I will introduce myself as a member of AKB48 on Music Station. I still remember the promise I made with the rest of the members to work hard so that we could come on the program often," she stated before performing.
Emotions were running high while performing "Yume no Kawa" as Maeda can be seen crying as she put on her final AKB48 performance. After a commercial break, emcee Tamori presented the singer with a bouquet of flowers, causing her to break down into tears once again.
Maeda first appeared on "Music Station" on June 9th, 2006, performing
"Skirt, Hirari". She has since made 22 more appearances on the show with AKB48 as well as 2 more as a solo artists.

観た観た！男の癖に涙が勝手に流した！彼女は本当に素晴らしいだよ。。卒業あとであっちゃんは女優になってを目指しているから、屹度ドラマ等でＡＫＢメンバーを再会する機会が有るよ！武道館後で彼女はシンゲル歌手になる場合、エベントなどでＡＫＢのメンバーと登場するの機会がも有ると思うし。。正直言えば、あっちゃん無しでＡＫＢはどうなるかと解らないけど。。それなのに、ＡＫＢとあちゃんと共に応援続けますよ！然し、俺にとって、あちゃんはＡＫＢ卒業するでも、常に一番伝説、抜群のメンバーに残ります！頑張ろう！
i saw i saw it! beeng a man my tears weare fallen by there own. she´s realy awesome. as she is planing to become an actress after graduation, there would be opportuneties to meet the other AKB members in drames etc. im thinking also,If she also planes to become an solo singer , there would be also chanses fo beeing with them on stage at events etc. talking the true, i realy dont know what will become AKB without acchan... beside of it i will continue supporting both , acchann and AKB ! however , also if acchan will graduate AKB she is and would be for me the unbeatable number one legend of the group! lets give our best!

Good luck on her solo and acting career!! saw the backstage pics from one of the other members, must have been a tough yet memorable time for them. hope the group pulls through even after she leaves!
