Arashi's Satoshi Ohno teamed up with artist Yoshitomo Nara to design charity t-shirts.
The t-shirts are for the telethon "24Hour Television 35 ‘Ai wa Chikyuu wo Sukuu’". The telethon's theme is "Future" which is expressed through the shirt's design.
For the shirt's design, Satoshi decided to write the the kanji for "Future" in bold calligraphy. "It’s simple. I think it would help build the future from the beginning. There was only one piece of paper left and I thought, ‘Let’s finalize it with this piece of paper’ and wrote the characters intuitively. I was happy with the final product. It’s great," he stated at a press conference for the telethon.
"24Hour Television 35 ‘Ai wa Chikyuu wo Sukuu’" will air from August 25th until the 26th.
