The normally private Andy Lau recently confessed during an interview that his potential girlfriends could have been either Rosamund Kwan or Idy Chan, who were both famous HK actresses.
On his thoughts with each of them, he stated that he actually confessed his feelings upfront to Idy Chan but, she just laughed it off as a response. Moreover, he found out that she was the girlfriend of someone he idolises. Therefore, he gave up those feelings. Whereas with Rosamund Kwan, he was attracted to her equally beautiful inner and outer qualities. Also, the late Anita Mui and him had a mutual admiration for each other but, preferred to stay as friends.
As for the rumoured "gay" issue, he remembered Carina Lau (Tony Leung's wife) said to him, "You don't even have feelings for me, you must be gay!" Obviously, this rumour is not true since, he's happily settled into family life with his wife and daughter.
