Prior to AKB48's Tokyo Dome concert and Maeda Atsuko's graduation, the girl group will be releasing 65 DVDs on Aug 21st.
Most of AKB special DVDs are only sold in official AKB48 store, but they decided to distribute it in public sites. DVDs that will be sold will include special concerts tours, theatrical performances, Janken tournament, DVD magazines, and video clips collection.

All DVDs will be released on Aug 21st.

Wow 65 DVDs ... Anyone going to buy that many?
IDK why this is a big deal?
It's not like fans are going to buy all 65 DVDs at once and most probably already have it from AKB official stores
This is just to make things easy for general public to get AKB goods.

Now that is a lot of DVDs guess Aki-P wants to dominate the DVD charts since JE is always in the top 5 with Arashi.
By releasing lots of DVDs, their overall sales and revenue will be much higher than Arashi, but ranking of a single DVD release wise Arashi will still be no. 1 on the DVD chart.
