Glad Arashi is on the chart!!! They are the best!!!
I remember seeing a lot of SMAP, Arashi and AKB ads on the trains over there. They're so popular.
All Arashi members and Masahiro Nakai (I just love that guy) are on the list so I'm happy :-)
Ohhh so a big news
JGS

Ichiro, my favorite baseball player, too bad he's with the Marlins, he needs to leave . . . to like the White Sox
wow thats really cool
Glad Arashi is on the chart!!!
They are the best!!!
It's nice to see that these girls are racking up money from endorsements and singles going multi-platinum, but there will come a day when the Japanese media is just oversaturated with AKB48, SKE48, NMB48 and all the other sister groups.
AKB48 are going to take over the world someday xD
....Oh yeah...I just realized..
YOU FORGOT OSHIMA YUKO
how many of them again...?
around 60 main girls, 90 if you count trainees but honestly only around 20 of them are relevant. The rest are only known to fans that go to their theaters.
AKB is a theater group so that's why there's so many of them. Each Team have different image like Team A is the strong personality pioneer team, Team K is the energetic team with rock-ish songs, Team B is the cute ones (that's the least popular) and a new Team 4.
Teams rotate on different nights since they perform every night because one team don't have the stamina to perform 14-16 songs for 356 days a year, and because AKB are idols you can meet if you go to their theater.
The top members, or the senbatsu, are the most important ones, go on TV perform to promote akb to mainstream public through dramas, endorsements, handshake events with over 80,000 fans a day etc. The trainees sub for the popular members who are missing. Honestly I doubt the group can actually function under 30 members...the activities they do is crazy..
AKB are awesome and attractive
i'm so glad that arashi made it on the list. all of them are present. that's enough with me.

This didn't come as a surprise they dominate the music world too...
A group that once only had 8 people at their first performance, passed out flyers on the street instead of being on billboards, and no one cared for is completely dominating Japan now :3
*fangirl squeel*
Mayuyu is on the list!! MAYUYU IS ON THE LIST!!!!
*thumbs up* Good job girl!!
I just noticed, you misspelled Yokoyama Yui's name (to Yokayama)
