I understand why yamapi leave NEWS. I think it's a decision is not bad, cause yamapi won't disturb NEWS's activity with him dorama. But many people think it's bad.

So beautiful I cried. So pleased he has found the strength to speak on his true feelings and struggles to why he left NEWS. The treatment he received was truly horrible and tragic because he cares and loves all his fans so much and works so hard to give them what they want even while finding it so hard to communicate his true self to them. I already knew that Yamashita Tomohisa was apart from being the BEST singer/artist also a peson who had one of most beautiful and giving souls in the Japanese music industry, I hope now maybe others will realise it too.

He sounds like he's blaming himself a lot. It was tough luck to release his single the same week as Tohoshinki. He'll definitely do well in the future if he doesn't give up.
He released the same week as Kim Hyun Joong, not TVXQ.
Ryo got a lot less backlash when he left than Yamapi did. It's partially that Yamapi was the group's leader that it was harder for people to accept his leaving.
