A First Look: Hatsune Miku Project DIVA Ver.2.5

SEGA is developing a new PSP game for its Project DIVA series, tentatively titled Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Ver 2.5, for a fall release.

On Monday, SEGA launched a website that featured a silhouette of vocaloid star Hatsune Miku and the message: "2011.4.28 (Thu) A New Project Begins". Fans immediately speculated this meant a new installment to the Project DIVA series, and they were right. SEGA has announce Project Diva Ver.2.5 for the PSP.

SEGA says that in this title fans can expect the same rhythm game they enjoyed in Project DIVA 2nd, but with new refinements for a better gameplay experience.

Confirmed tracklist:

So far, only four tracks have been confirmed for Project DIVA Ver.2.5. Websites for Famitsu and Dengeki magazines are reporting that nearly all songs from Project DIVA 2nd will be replaced.

Modules:

Popular characters Miku, Rin, Len, and Luka are all back at full force.
And of course Kaito and Meiko too!

There are a number of new modules to look forward to in this game, including one that's a secret.
